Traditionally, the Informed Consent Form consists of blocks of text and quite a bit of complex medical terminology. Potential study participants requested more visual elements to explain complex topics, and plain language to clarify medical concepts. Potential study participants emphasized the importance of knowing more about clinical trials in general to help them better engage with the ICF.
